IBM Db2 11.5.0 through 11.5.9, and 12.1.0 through 12.1.5 could allow a remote attacker to perform an arbitrary file write due to improper validation of file paths.
Zephyr's TLS socket layer in subsys/net/lib/sockets/sockets_tls.c keeps a single process-global array, client_cache, of cached client sessions that is shared by every TLS socket context. The functions that mutate and read it — tls_session_save(), tls_session_get(), tls_session_cache_reset(), and the settings restore handler — allocate, free, and dereference each entry's heap buffer (entry->session). Before the fix these accesses were serialized only by the per-socket context mutex ctx->lock (assigned per socket in ctx_set_lock()), which provides no mutual exclusion between different sockets touching the shared cache.
Because CONFIG_NET_SOCKETS_TLS_MAX_CLIENT_SESSION_COUNT defaults to 1, any two concurrent client sockets contend for the same slot. A thread in tls_session_get() reading entry->session inside mbedtls_ssl_session_load() can run concurrently with another thread in tls_session_save() that selects the same entry for reuse and executes mbedtls_free(entry->session) before reallocating — a use-after-free read, and a double-free when two saves evict the same entry. Both corrupt the mbedTLS heap. The cache is reached on ordinary client paths: at connect time via tls_session_store()/tls_session_restore(), and (on main) whenever a TLS 1.3 session ticket arrives during recv()/poll() via tls_session_store_current().
Exploitation requires an application that opts into per-socket client session caching (the TLS_SESSION_CACHE socket option, off by default) and runs concurrent TLS client connections on multiple threads; the timing that opens the window is influenced by the remote peer(s), so a malicious or compromised server can raise session-ticket frequency to widen it. The reliably-demonstrable impact is memory corruption leading to a crash or heap corruption (denial of service). The fix adds a dedicated session_cache_lock mutex taken across every accessor of client_cache, serializing all reads and frees and closing the race.
IBM WebSphere Application Server 9.0, and 8.5 and IBM WebSphere Application Server - Liberty are vulnerable to HTTP request smuggling, caused by improper parsing of the HTTP transfer-encoding request header. By sending a specially crafted HTTP transfer-encoding request header, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to poison the web cache, bypass web application firewall protection, and conduct XSS attacks.
IBM WebSphere Application Server 9.0, and 8.5 and IBM WebSphere Application Server - Liberty could allow a remote attacker to conduct phishing attacks, using an open redirect attack. By persuading a victim to visit a specially crafted Web site, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to spoof the URL displayed to redirect a user to a malicious Web site that would appear to be trusted. This could allow the attacker to obtain highly sensitive information or conduct further attacks against the victim.

A security vulnerability has been detected in cosmicstack-labs mercury-agent up to 1.2.0. This impacts the function checkShellCommand of the file src/capabilities/permissions.ts of the component Shell Command Permission. The manipulation leads to incorrect privilege assignment. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
A weakness has been identified in cosmicstack-labs mercury-agent up to 1.2.0. This affects the function PermissionManager.checkShellCommand of the file mercury-agent/src/capabilities/permissions.ts of the component Shell Permission Manifest. Executing a manipulation can lead to information disclosure. The attack is restricted to local execution. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
A security flaw has been discovered in cosmicstack-labs mercury-agent up to 1.1.13. The impacted element is the function PermissionManager.checkShellCommand of the file mercury-agent/src/capabilities/permissions.ts of the component Shell Command Permission Check. Performing a manipulation results in improper authorization. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
A vulnerability was identified in HKUDS nanobot up to 0.2.1. The affected element is the function ExecTool._guard_command/ExecTool._spawn of the file nanobot/agent/tools/shell.py of the component ExecTool. Such manipulation leads to argument injection. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The name of the patch is af582246f141311d574551b7571a517bcc3df750. It is best practice to apply a patch to resolve this issue.
A vulnerability was determined in HKUDS nanobot up to 0.2.1. Impacted is the function ExecTool._guard_command/ExecTool._spawn of the file nanobot/agent/tools/shell.py of the component ExecTool. This manipulation causes incomplete blacklist. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. Patch name: af582246f141311d574551b7571a517bcc3df750. Applying a patch is the recommended action to fix this issue.
ThemeAtelier Domain For Sale plugin for WordPress before 3.5.2 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in its REST API endpoints that allows unauthenticated attackers to access and manipulate protected resources. Attackers can retrieve stored offer records, delete arbitrary offers by numeric identifier, and access dashboard statistics to disclose bidder contact information, offer details, messages, verification tokens, and business data.
MikroTik RouterOS before 7.24.2 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the container package OCI/tar image extraction that allows attackers to write files outside the container root by supplying a crafted container image with symlinks pointing to arbitrary paths. Attackers can exploit unsanitized tar member path extraction during container import via /container/add to achieve root-privileged file creation, directory creation, file deletion via overlayfs whiteout, and hardlink creation on the persistent data partition without ever starting the container. The 7.23.x long-term branch does not contain this fix; the container binaries in container-7.23.3.npk and container-7.23.4.npk are byte-identical. The vendor has confirmed that the issue is not resolved in the long-term release and that the fix is carried forward only in the stable branch from 7.24.2 onward, with no backport to the long-term branch planned.
MikroTik RouterOS before 7.23.4 (long-term) and 7.24.2 (stable) contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the mtget binary's TFTP RRQ builder function that allows authenticated users to crash the mtget worker process by supplying a URL path of 507 bytes or more to the /tool fetch command; the first write outside the 528-byte buffer occurs at 505 bytes. Attackers can trigger the overflow by issuing a fetch command with a crafted tftp:// URL path, which causes an unbounded rep movsb instruction to overwrite saved registers at a deterministic offset, crashing the process without requiring a reachable TFTP server or elevated privileges beyond read-only group membership.
Incorrect privilege assignment in Temporary Elevated Access Management (TEAM) for AWS IAM Identity Center solution before version 1.5.1 might allow an authenticated remote user with application-level access to read, approve, modify, or revoke arbitrary access requests, thereby obtaining unintended temporary elevated access to the AWS accounts accessed using the TEAM deployment.
This issue has been addressed in TEAM version 1.5.1 or later. We recommend upgrading to the latest version and ensuring any forked or derivative code is patched to incorporate the new fixes.
